Los Padres National Forest

I cannot claim to know the full identity of the National Park, however, I can claim to at least be familiar with one of its most breathtaking features, Big Sur. Big Sur is frequently described as, dramatic, which makes sense if you consider its one of a kind coastal cliff views. located along California’s scenic Highway 1 this area is not the easiest to arrive at. Frequent road closures and its proximity to a noisy highway would also seem to make this location less than ideal for a field recording trip. Nevertheless, I was determined to make this location one featured in Wild Harmony, and thankfully so. The Recordings captured from Big Sur are worth the time and can help a listener transport themselves to a truly awe inspiring location.
